MoLock is a free privacy screen lock for Windows 10 and 11. It covers your PC with an elegant lock screen while you are away, and you unlock it by typing your password anywhere on screen. If someone approaches the locked PC, their photo reaches your Telegram in about a second. A wrong password triggers intruder capture: photos and a video clip with sound. You can also control the whole PC from your own private Telegram bot, keep notes, to-dos and reminders, and, if you wish, see them in your private portal.

Yes. Everything that protects your PC is free and stays free, with no ads: locking, intruder photos, alerts, the account and dashboard, remote control, your 7ot.app email and the basic tools. Since 3.0 there is an optional Premium plan for people who need more — more PCs and storage, family controls, the pro converter and session recording. It comes with a serial; there are no card payments on the site.

Yes. The entire interface is available in Arabic and English. When MoLock is set to Arabic, the widgets are fully Arabic as well, including prayer times, the Hijri date and weather.

No. MoLock complements them. Keep your Windows password enabled and turn on BitLocker or Device Encryption so your files stay protected even if the drive is removed. MoLock adds an everyday layer on top: fast, smart locking, evidence of every attempt and control from your phone.

MoLock is a privacy lock, not a parental-control app. It keeps children out of your session while you are away. For the children themselves, the best option is a dedicated child account set up through Windows family settings.

Version 2.9 is "dashboard first": the MoLock Account dashboard becomes the one place for everything, and five new features join it — walk-away lock, focus & screen time, the privacy guard for camera, microphone and shoulder surfers, prayer times with a live desktop widget, and the network guard that shows who is on your Wi-Fi. Signing in also gets easier and stronger: passkeys, one-tap approval in Telegram and remembered browsers. The release also brings MoLock Remote — full control of your PC from any browser, phones included, end-to-end encrypted and always visible on the PC — plus pro screenshots (a selector that snaps to windows, numbered steps, real blur, Copy text), better screen recording and sending text or a link from your phone straight to the PC's clipboard.

The headline of 2.7 is MoLock Account: one account for all your PCs. You sign in with your password plus a code from the official Telegram bot, @MoLockOfficialBot, and you link a PC in seconds with a short code. From the account you control your PCs remotely: lock, take a camera photo or a screenshot, sound the siren, show a message on screen, restart or shut down, and locate — plus Lost mode, Find my PC and approve unlock from your phone. On the PC itself: desktop sticky notes synced with your account, smart right-click tools (compress, resize and convert images, make a PDF, convert video and audio, encrypt, shred and share files), screenshots and screen recording as video or GIF with annotations and blur, replacing PrintScreen, an advanced clipboard, a PC health & security score, the MoLock Vault encrypted drive in This PC, end-to-end encrypted share links and a daily brief. An optional personal portal you open from any browser with its own password, showing your notes, to-dos, reminders and an encrypted history of every unlock attempt with its photo, all encrypted on your PC before it leaves. Notes, to-dos and reminders on the PC, with the sounds you choose, daily, weekday, weekly or monthly repeats, display even over the lock screen, an optional copy on Telegram and new bot commands such as /remind, /todo and /portal. A secret quick unlock that only you know about, always reported to Telegram. Closing MoLock now keeps it running quietly in the background so your bot keeps answering, with an option to exit completely. Also lock-screen effect levels (Auto, Light, Medium and Heavy), redesigned themes and customisable widgets in the new "Graphite & Amber" look, and a comprehensive installer that sets your password and recovery code, lock-screen look, monitoring style and Telegram bot in one flow.

Since 2.6, closing MoLock stops the locking but keeps the app running quietly in the background, so your Telegram bot keeps answering. You can still lock the PC or bring the protection back with /resume from your phone. If you prefer a clean exit, change the "When I close MoLock" setting from "keep running in the background" to "exit completely". Closing asks for your password if you turned that option on.

Camera motion detection while locked: a photo on Telegram in about a second, with buttons for another photo, a video or a siren. Tamper alerts with a photo when someone tries to close or pause MoLock or open Settings with a wrong password, or ends it from Task Manager. Updates from your bot with /update, even while locked. A setup wizard that links your bot and sends you a command guide, plus 3 style profiles: Simple, Professional and Dynamic. Also 5 new themes, richer widgets and redesigned, fully Arabic Settings. Follow-up releases through 2.5.3 made the themes markedly lighter on the processor, added bot linking from Settings and improved reliability.

7ot.app is a short address that brings the site, the dashboard (7ot.app/me), mail and share links together. Old links and pages redirect to the new address automatically, and versions already installed keep working with nothing for you to change.
