Introducing MoLock 2.7: your account, your PCs, everywhere
One account for every PC you own, an official bot that answers even when your laptop is off, and a set of everyday tools that make Windows calmer and more private. Here is everything in 2.7 — and why each piece matters.

Until now, MoLock lived on one PC at a time. Each install had its own bot, its own portal and its own set of settings. That worked well for a single laptop, but real life rarely looks like that: a desktop at home, a laptop for work, maybe a family PC — and no single place to see them all.
MoLock 2.7 is built around that reality. It introduces MoLock Account, a home for every PC you link, and then fills it with the things you actually do every day: checking that the PCs are locked, finding a laptop that went missing, letting someone in without giving away your password, sharing a file safely, taking a clean screenshot. Everything that was already there — the lock screen, intruder photos, motion alerts and your personal Telegram bot — keeps working exactly as before.
One account for all your PCs
MoLock Account is the new centre of MoLock. Open it in any browser, sign in, and you see every linked PC with its status: locked or unlocked, online or offline, battery and the last time it checked in. From the same page you can read your notes and reminders, browse the unlock history with photos and manage your files.
Signing in takes two things: your account password and a six-digit code that the official bot, @MoLockOfficialBot, sends to your Telegram. The code is valid for five minutes. If you tick "trust this browser", you stay signed in for 30 days; otherwise the session ends after 12 hours. Every sign-in, successful or not, is reported to you by the bot.

Why it matters: you no longer have to remember which PC has which bot, or open a separate portal for each one. One password, one place.
The official bot works even when your PC is off
Your personal bot runs on your PC, so it can only answer while MoLock is running. The official bot is different: it lives with your account, not on your PC. That means it can still show you the list of your PCs, their last known state and your files when a laptop is closed, asleep or missing. Commands you send to an offline PC wait and are delivered the moment it reconnects.
Your personal bot does not go away. It still does everything it did in 2.6 — the official bot simply adds an account-wide view on top.
Link a PC in seconds
Open Settings → Account on the PC. MoLock shows a short code such as ABCD-EFGH, valid for ten minutes and usable once. Send /link ABCD-EFGH to @MoLockOfficialBot, or type the code on the account page while you are signed in. That is it: the bot confirms "«NAME» is now linked to your MoLock account".
/start- Welcome to MoLock. Link this chat to your account, then send the link code shown in your PC's Settings.
/link ABCD-EFGH- 🖥 «DESKTOP-MO» is now linked to your MoLock account. My devicesOpen account
Your account password starts out as your PC's lock password, so there is nothing new to remember. You can change it at any time on the web or in the app, and every change is announced by the bot.
Remote control from the account
Each PC card in your account carries the actions you need when you are away from it: lock it now, take a camera photo, grab a screenshot, sound the siren, show an on-screen message, restart or shut down with a delay, and locate it. Photos and screenshots travel back encrypted and are opened only in your browser.
Every remote action is recorded in your account and announced by the official bot — "📸 Photo taken from the web" — so you always know what happened and from where.

Lost mode, Find my PC and approve-unlock
Three features turn your phone into both the alarm and the key.
- Lost mode locks the PC, shows a message with a way to reach you on the lock screen, and takes a photo at an interval you choose. We walk through it step by step in Lost your laptop? What Lost mode does, minute by minute.
- Find my PC asks the laptop for its location and shows it in your account, so you know whether it is at the office or somewhere it should not be.
- Approve unlock from your phone adds a "Request access from the owner" button to the lock screen. The request reaches your Telegram with a photo; you tap Allow once or Deny. The story behind it is in Approve unlock from your phone.
Tools you will use every day
2.7 also brings a set of tools that have nothing to do with intruders and everything to do with making Windows nicer to use. They live where you already work: on the desktop, in the right-click menu and behind the PrintScreen key. The full tour is on the Tools page.
Desktop sticky notes
Coloured notes that stay on your desktop, on the right monitor, collapsed or always on top — with an optional reminder. They sync with your account, encrypted, so the note you wrote at home is waiting on your work laptop.
Smart right-click tools
Right-click an image to compress it with a quality slider, resize it, convert it or strip its location. Select several images and turn them into one PDF. Convert or compress video and audio, or make a GIF. Check a file's fingerprint, encrypt it with a password, shred it so it cannot be recovered, or create a share link. Read Stop sending huge photos for the compression story.
Screenshot and screen recording
PrintScreen now opens MoLock's capture tool. Pick a region, a window or the whole screen; add arrows, text and highlights; and blur anything sensitive before you share it. The same tool records your screen as a video or a GIF. More in Screen recording and GIFs without extra apps.
An advanced clipboard
A searchable history of what you copied, saved snippets, quick transforms, a fix for text typed in the wrong keyboard layout (Arabic ↔ English), and optional sync to your phone. Anything that looks like a password or card number is never stored. See The clipboard, reimagined.
PC health and a security score
A score from 0 to 100 built from things that matter: free disk space, temporary files, startup apps, whether Windows Security and the firewall are on, drive encryption and pending updates — with a clear tip for each one, and buttons to clean temporary files or open Windows Security.
MoLock Vault
An encrypted drive that appears in This PC. Put anything inside, and it locks itself whenever MoLock locks. You can also lock it remotely from your account. The details are in Your encrypted vault drive.
Share links
Send a file with a link that expires when you decide — from one hour to 30 days — with an optional password, a download limit or "delete after the first download". The file is encrypted before it leaves your PC or browser, and the key lives only in the link itself. The service stores a sealed box it cannot open. Here is how that works, in plain words.
The daily brief
A small morning card with the weather, today's reminders and to-dos, and how many unlock attempts happened overnight. It shows on your PC and, if you like, the bot sends it to you at the time you choose.
Privacy did not take a back seat
More features, the same promise: what is private stays readable by you alone.
Adding an account could easily have meant handing more of your life to a server. We went the other way. Notes, sticky notes, clipboard items, reminders, attempt photos, remote photos and screenshots, vault keys and the contents of share links are all encrypted on your PC or in your browser before they travel. Your password is never sent; the service stores only a check value that cannot be turned back into it.
The bot also follows a simple rule: messages about private things are text only. Photos stay in your encrypted account, and the message carries a link to view them after you sign in.

How to get 2.7
If MoLock is already installed, the update arrives automatically and is verified before it installs — or send /update to your bot to install it right away, even while the PC is locked. New here? Download MoLock; it is free, with no ads and no subscription.
- Update or install MoLock 2.7.
- Open Settings → Account and note the link code.
- Send
/linkwith the code to @MoLockOfficialBot. - Sign in to your account from any browser and see your PC there.
Everything about the account — sign-in, security and limits — is explained on the MoLock Account page.
Coming next in 2.9
We are already working on the next big step: full remote desktop in your browser. See your PC's screen and use it from anywhere, through the same account, with the same rule that every session is reported to you. It is not part of 2.7 — we will tell you here when it is ready.
